JV and Varsity practice together at Hyland Hills after school on Mon, Wednesday, Thursday 4-6 pm; and Saturday mornings 10 am -12:30 pm. See below for JV and Varsity practice breakdown. Skiers are expected to attend 4 of the 5 practices plus race day and can flex a M / Tu / W off to accommodate school schedules, if they want.
Dryland Practice: Hopkins High School - room is ski room #230
All team practice from 4pm-5:30pm. Middle school students will take the athletic shuttle busses from West Middle School to North Middle School/Hopkins High School Campus.

Monday - 4-5:30 pm practice (all team)
Tuesday - Varsity RACE DAY at Buck Hill: 4pm race time (early release from school)
Wednesday - 4-5:30 pm practice (all team)
Thursday - 4-5:30 pm practice (all team)
Friday - Varsity only practice (JV race)
Saturday - 10 am - 12:30 am practice (all team)

Team costs
Required for all skiers:
Hopkins High School athletic fee of $300;
Booster club $180;
Hyland Hills season pass: up to $424 (athletic department covers $100; additional discounts if purchased through pre-season sale); and
Required racing gear: Helmet, skis, boots, poles, shin guards (a complete gear list and locations to purchase or lease can be found on FAQ page).
Dependent on skier invite or interest:
Transportation / bus fee to weekday practices $130 (for skiers who plan to ride the bus to practices);
Hyland Hills locker $109 paid through Three Rivers Park District
Brainerd race during winter break, cost for hotel overnight, and family meal ($15 / person)
Wild Mountain all day training and O-Lake Invitational over winter break, TBD
MLK Giant's Ridge overnight and race, up to $250 for those invited
Team apparel and team/individual photos purchased through vendor websites
Replacing lost blackberry parka, up to $250.
Skiers who qualify for free or reduced price lunch will have reduced athletic fee, and booster and bus fees will be waived.
